Beach clean commitment

On Saturday, some of our older children took part in a wonderful community effort—they headed down to the beach to help clear litter.

It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and sense of responsibility as they worked together to make the shoreline cleaner and safer for everyone.

They understand how important it is for the environment and the planet that the beach and the sea remain as unpolluted as possible. But, inevitably, those enjoying the beautiful white sands and blue seas of the Indian Ocean can sometimes be careless with the rubbish they leave behind—particularly plastics.

These plastics pose a serious threat to marine life and can take hundreds of years to break down.

Armed with gloves, bags, and big smiles, the children collected plastic bottles, wrappers, and other debris that had washed up or been left behind. Their hard work not only improved the beauty of the beach but also helped protect marine ecosystems from harmful waste.

We’re so proud of their commitment to caring for the environment and setting a great example for others.
