Pretty, the youngest member of our family, has moved on to a foster home.
This has come after several months of bonding with her foster parent Josephine.
They were introduced by children’s officer, Sebastian Muteti, in June who brought Josephine to the Happy House to meet little Pretty.
Josephine had altready been through the selection process and been approved as a foster carer bvy the Children’s Department.
Over the following months she visited Pretty on a regular basis and both Mr Muteti and Happy House agreed that Pretty was ready ready to move on to her new family.
Obviously, it was sad for us to to say goodbye to our much loved baby girl, but we also appreciate that she is going to home where she will be equally loved and cared for and to which she will bring much joy.
All children are referred to us through the Children’s Department and we work within the requirements of the Children’s Act.
Mr Muteti and Josephine came together to the Happy House where the final paperwork was signed and little Pretty left in the arms of her new parent. Her journey from now on will be monitored by the Children’s Department.
We were all sad to see her her leave, but we are grateful that we were there when she and for long as she needed us to be and we are so grateful to those who sponsored her during her stay with us.
Like all our children, she will always be a Happy House kid!
