Blackpool Tower pictures please

When Blackpool Tower shines out in orange TONIGHT for our Happy House we’d like anyone who is there to see it to share their pictures and videos with us.

Our children living in the care of Happy House , who know all about one of Britain’s most iconic structures, are so excited and would really like love to see what it looks like in their signature colour.

Today has been chosen because to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Happy House and to mark the = the 76th birthday of the founder of our charity, Children of Watamum Sue Hayward, who died in 2021.

She and her husband, Dave, sold their small hotel in Blackpool so they could move to Kenya when the Happy House opened in 2010.

If you live in Blackpool or on the coast where you can see the Tower, please take a picture for our 50+ children all wishing they were here to see it!

They suffer so many power cuts it’s hard for them to imagine what Blackpool looks like during the illuminations!
