At the Happy House, we’ve always believed in the importance of democracy, responsibility, and giving our children a voice.
For almost all of our 16 years, the Kids Council has been a cherished part of our family life.
Elected by their peers, council members help organise rotas for weekend and holiday tasks, encourage responsible behaviour, and set the standard for good manners around the house.
Papa Dave and the management team have been so impressed by the thoughtful and mature way the current council has been fulfilling its duties showing leadership, maturity, and commitment that they decided the children deserved a special reward.
So Papa arranged a lovely outing: a trip to a simple restaurant in the village, where the council members enjoyed a delicious feast of chicken and chips.
It was a joyful celebration of their hard work, commitment, and kindness—qualities that make our Happy House community shine.
