Johnny is one of the young men living in Hatch House, the first bungalow on the siite of our hslfway house. ,Happy House bought the land and built the bungalow as the first phase of its pla to provide semi-independent livig accommodation for yooug people who, at 18, must leave the care of our children’s home but who have nowhere else to go or no way of supportig themselves. ,Johnny shares with Gift,Tumaini , and Brian Isiaho who are still in school while he works at Happy House on the maintenance team when not on an electrians course at college.. ,He said they look after themselves and share just as Msma Sue would want because they bonded as Happy House kids. ,Hatch House is named in honour and in memory two of our charity’s wonderful supporters, Betty Hatch, whose donation helped to make it possible and her son Paul, who was one of our trusteesw
