We’ve followed the journey of our two amazing fundraisers, Ben Heavers and Rees Flynn, right to the top of Mont Blanc.
Their mission to reach the summit of Western Europe’s highest mountain has raised £8768 toward building a third bungalow on our Halfway House site, which provides supported living for young people who must leave our children’s home care when they reach 18, and have nowhere to go while they finish their strudies of vocational training.
After weeks of training, both men started off by climbing Gran Paradisowhich in itself is a massive feat of skill and endurance.
Sadly Rees was unable to do trhe Mont Blanc climb but was of huge supporet to Ben and the trdy of the people taking part.
Here Papa Dave and the kids, all gathered for Kids Club, say thank you to Ben, Rees and all those who people who donated so generously, in our own special way.
