Independent John

Standing on his own feet suits Happy House John just fine. ,He is grateful to be living in Hatch House, the first bungalow unit we have built on our halfway house site.He shares it with twins, Gift and Baraka, who are still in school whilst John is training to be a plumber. ,All over 18 they had to leave the care of Happy House children’s home but had no way of supporting themselves. Without means of support or relatives who could offer a roof, they would have faced a bleak future so we had to ensure that we had a halfway house to provide supported living for these in=between times. ,We desperately need funds to build the second phase so if you can help, or know someone who can, please email; elizabthgomm@childrenofwatamu.net
