Learning to build the web

For the past five weeks, our children have been learning HTML through online classes, as Nickson tells us.

HTML – short for HyperText Markup Language – is the foundation of every website you see on the internet. From blogs to business pages, every site starts with HTML to structure and display information.

The children have been fascinated to discover how a few lines of code can create headings, images, links, and colours on a web page.

What once seemed like magic is now something they can understand and experiment with themselves.

Web design is an incredibly valuable skill for the future. It combines creativity with problem-solving and gives our children a stronger sense of digital confidence.

In today’s world, websites are essential for communication, business, and learning, and understanding how they are built opens doors to many opportunities.

We’re so proud of the progress they’ve made in such a short time, and we can already see their excitement for designing and sharing their own work online.
