On the move

Going up to a new class is made exciting for children at Happy House School.
After Mama Sue announced that good exam results meant everyone would progress to a new form when the new academic year starts in January, there was great enthusiasm to get moving!
In preparation for the big day to come,  our kids waved goodbye to their old classrooms and moved their belonging to the places they had been assigned in their new one.
It was a happy morning for children and teachers and one which will make the return to school after the holidays a smooth one.
As the Kenya Government has outlawed class tuition,  and put stiff penalties in place for schools and teachers, our school remains closed until the new year.
The Government has also delayed the announcement of exam results, so whilst many schools had already released their results those that have not will be forced to wait.
That means some sponsors of children who have been repatriated into families will not get their child’s results for a few weeks.
In meantime, our children will have lots to do at home getting ready for Christmas.
Happy holidays, kids.
