You are warmly invited to spend a joyful afternoon of colour, rhythm, and connection with the children of Children of Watamu, at the Happy House Children’s Home. This is not a workshop. It’s not a performance.
It’s a shared experience of creativity, mindfulness, and cultural exchange, where everyone takes part, side by side.
We are 55 children who live together as one family at Happy House, and we invite you to spend time with us creating, moving, laughing, and expressing ourselves through art, music, and dance.
:00 pm – Welcome Dance & Warm Introductions
A joyful welcome led by the children, with simple movement or song you can join in.
1:15 pm – The Happy House Story
Hear our story, shared by the children themselves, with visuals and gentle storytelling.
1:30 pm – Paint & Groove
Create your artwork while enjoying Afro-inspired music from our in-house DJ. Paint, chat, move, and relax in a warm, open atmosphere.
2:30 pm – Dance & Showcase
We celebrate together with music, movement, and a playful “catwalk moment”, where you and your new friends share your creations.
