Papa Dave has popped on hiss Santa hat to spread the festive cheer and let you know just how excited everyone at Happy House is for Christmas!
We know how hard Santa works, so we give him a little break by inviting him to visit our children 11 days early. That means our big Christmas celebration will take place on Sunday, December 14—a day for all the family and friends to come together for everything Christmas should be: joy, laughter, and love.
Why early? It’s simple. Some of the children in our care have relatives who want to spend Christmas with them, so this gives them the chance to go on “home” visits. That’s about half of our children. For those who remain at home with us, we’ll make sure they have a very special day on December 25 too.
But December 14 is the big family celebration—a day packed with festive fun and delicious food. The highlight, as always, will be a visit from Santa himself, bringing a gift for every child. Papa Dave is hoping this year will be even better than last year’s amazing day because he wants only the best for the wonderful community of children he and Mama Sue created when they opened Happy House.
And as Papa Dave always acknowledges, they’re your children too—loved by those who sponsor a child, support us in any way, or simply enjoy following what we do. We thank you always and love you forever for being part of this incredible family.
Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to the happiest day of the year!
