Python alert, but no need to call help

This week, our children swapped pencils for Python, and no… not the kind you find at Watamu Snake Farm.

Thanks to a talented and dedicated volunteer all the way from Yorkshire, via our new connected My Little Zen classroom , a group of our children have started learning how to code in Python.

Zack, who describes himself as an ethical hacker, works with companies, banks, and large organisations to test their cyber systems by trying to hack into them and then helping them fix any problems he finds. And he does it all from his home.

The children were amazed to learn that hacking could be a profession and over the coming months, Zack will be leading a weekly coding class for our kids.

Python is one of the most in-demand programming languages in the world today. It’s used for everything from websites and apps to artificial intelligence, data analysis, and automation.
