In Kenya, young people spend the final three years of their education at senior school — an important stage where they begin to focus on their future and explore the career paths that may inspire them. It’s a time of growth, discovery, and new opportunities.
For Samira, this is an especially exciting moment. She is full of hope and anticipation as she moves on from our own Happy House Junior Secondary to join senior school. This next step means entering an entirely new environment, meeting many new people — both teachers and fellow students — and experiencing a different level of independence and responsibility.
Although leaving the familiar surroundings of Happy House school life may feel a little daunting, Samira is embracing the adventure ahead. She hopes that her time in senior school will help her gain clarity about her future and guide her towards the path she will one day take when she ventures into the world of work.
With her bright spirit, determination, and the strong foundation she has gained at Happy House, Samira is more than ready for this next chapter. We are incredibly proud of her and look forward to seeing her grow, discover her strengths, and continue working towards the future she dreams of.
Go well, Samira — your journey is just beginning, and we are cheering you on every step of the way!
