No sooner will be Chrsitmas be over than a new chapter iwill begin for our Happy House family.
The new academic year will begin in January with the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream big.
The transition from holiday cheer to school readiness is always a special moment— a reminder of theresilience and enthusiasm these young hearts carry.
Of course, getting ready for school means making sure everyone has what they need. Some of our children have grown out of their school shoes and need new footwear to take them walking confidently into the next term.
As in all large families, we hand down shoes and clothes whenever possible, but there will always be a need for some new items.
Thanks to the kindness of Angela Lewis, a dear friend of Happy House, those children who needed new shoes were treated to a special outing.
Angela took them to Bata Shoes in Malindi, where she generously bought each child a pair of good, sturdy shoes. The day didn’t end there—Angela treated them to a tasty lunch of pizza and ice cream!
The children had a wonderful time, and we are hugely grateful to Angela for her generosity and for making their outing such fun.. Thank you to Angela and to all our supporters for being part of the Happy House family.
