We’re excited to share that we’ve now set up a library inside the Happy House home to sit alongside our school library — encouraging our children to read for pleasure any time of day.
This has only been possible thanks to the support of our donors who have generously given books to fill the shelves.
A very special thank you to Nicole and Mia, two amazing supporters from Dubai who sponsor Emmanuel Ushindi. They’ve been all over the city collecting books from kind-hearted people who wanted to give them a new home — and they’ve certainly found one here!
To help care for the books, trustee Lewis from My Little Zen has created a system where children sign books in and out, and our aunties can chat with them about what they’ve read.
