Happy House is delighted to bring you news of a new addition to our family.
Baby Louis was rescued in the Kwa Ndomo area of Malindi on October 11 and taken to the local police station, where the case was officially recorded. From there, he was admitted to the newborn unit at the hospital for medical examination and treatment.
According to hospital records, Louis was born on the same day he was found, After receiving the care he needed and being declared fit and stable, we were contacted to provide him with a safe and loving home.
On October 27, Baby Louis joined our Happy House family for long-term care and protection.
So far, there has been no success in tracing his family or relatives. The Children’s Office is actively working to find a more permanent solution in line with the new government regulations. The new policy is to place babies in family homes with foster carers, but we will ensure Louis will be safe, loved, and cared for every single minute he remains in our care.
He is already loved by all our other children, who enjoy spending time with him and showering him with affection. It’s heartwarming to see how quickly he has become part of our Happy House family.
Today, we are happy to share that baby Louis is doing well, growing healthy, and surrounded by love.
Thank you for your continued support—it makes stories like Louis’s possible.
Every smile, every heartbeat, and every moment of hope is because of you.
If you would like to help us give baby Louis and other children a brighter future, please consider sponsoring, donating, or sharing our mission. £20 a month will help transform the life of a child from a troubeld background.
