Christmas Day at Happy House shone with extra warmth and wonder this year. While many children were away visiting relatives, some remained at home for the holiday—and thanks to a very special visitor, their Christmas was filled with joy, laughter, and love.
The children stopped in their tracks, wide-eyed, when with a cheerful “Ho, ho, ho!”, Santa Claus himself stepped through the door, red suit bright, white beard glistening, and a bulging sack of gifts slung over his shoulder. Excitement filled the air as the children rushed to greet him.
But this year’s visit wasn’t just about presents—it carried a deeper meaning. Before handing out the gifts, Santa spoke warmly of the late Mama Sue, the remarkable woman whose passion and determination turned her dream of opening a children’s home in Kenya into a reality.
He honoured her legacy with heartfelt words, reminding everyone that her spirit continues to guide and protect Happy House.
Santa then gave special thanks to Angela, another wonderful woman whose kindness and generosity made his delivery of gifts possible. Through her giving heart, the children were able to unwrap surprises chosen just for them.
Her support ensured that every child felt the magic of Christmas, and Santa made sure her kindness did not go uncelebrated.
