Thomas has been putting his maths — and his negotiating skills — into action at the local market in Watamu.
With pineapples now in season, he was keen to buy ten so that he and all the other children in our Happy House family could enjoy some delicious fresh fruit for dinner.
But Thomas also knew that buying in bulk should mean getting a better price!
After a friendly chat with the vendor, he struck a deal they were both happy with.
With his bargain secured, Thomas headed home with an armful of pineapples and a big, proud smile.
