Last weekend, Ethan Wright and Tom Adams completed an incredible challenge in support of Children of Watamu and the children at Happy House Children’s Home, taking on 24 peaks in 24 hours across the Lake District in the UK…. and they did it!
Completing the challenge in around 20 hours, we think that is absolutely amazing.
The two apprentices from Morgan Sindall Infrastructure are travelling to Kenya this summer as part of a volunteer team supporting Happy House through maintenance work, activities with the children, and helping within the school and home.
We want to say a huge thank you to Ethan and Tom for the time, effort and energy they have already put into supporting our children. Challenges like this are not easy, and seeing young people give up their weekend to raise funds and awareness means a great deal to everyone at Happy House.
The funds raised help us continue providing daily care, love, education, meals and a safe family environment for the children in our family. Every donation, no matter the size, genuinely makes a difference.
We would also like to thank everyone who has already supported them, shared their fundraiser, donated or encouraged their efforts along the way.
