There is plenty of excitement around Happy House at the moment as the World Cup season gets underway!
Football is always a favourite topic of conversation amongst the children, so to make things even more fun, every child has been given a World Cup team to support. The teams were chosen completely at random, which has led to lots of cheering, friendly rivalry, and plenty of debate about whose team has the best chance of lifting the trophy.
To add a little extra excitement, there will be prizes for the children whose teams finish as the tournament winners and runners-up. Suddenly, children who had never heard of some of the countries before are becoming their biggest supporters!
One of the wonderful things about the World Cup is how it brings people together from all over the world. Here at Happy House, we are fortunate to have supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and friends spread across many different countries, each with their own team they will be cheering on.
