There is something truly special about welcoming friends who have travelled from afar to share their time, skills, and their hearts with our Happy House family.
This week, we are delighted to welcome a wonderful group of students and staff from Energy Coast UTC a University Technical College in Cumbria, UK.
Their visit has been eagerly anticipated for many months, and we are overjoyed that they are finally here. Over 13 days, they will become part of our Happy House family, creating friendships, sharing experiences, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
From the moment they arrived, the Energy Coast UTC team have embraced every opportunity to get involved. At our school, they have been working alongside our teachers, leading engaging lessons, supporting classroom activities, and inspiring our children through learning and interaction.
At the children’s home, the group has also rolled up their sleeves to tackle a variety of repairs and maintenance projects. Their enthusiasm and willingness to help improve our facilities are greatly appreciated. Every repaired door, freshly painted wall, and completed maintenance task will have a lasting impact on the children who call Happy House their home.
What makes this visit even more meaningful is the spirit of teamwork. Working side by side with our children and staff, the visitors are not only sharing practical skills but also building friendships that cross cultures and continents.Kindness knows no borders.
