New chairs get some paint

At Happy House, everyone plays a part in looking after the home, and today it was the turn of Thomas and the older boys to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

The boys have been painting our newly donated chairs, helping to protect them so they will last for many years to come.

By doing the painting themselves, they are also helping to reduce the cost of bringing in professional painters, allowing more of our resources to go directly towards caring for the children.

These beautiful chairs were kindly gifted by Cherry and UTC Energy Coast students during their recent visit to Happy House.

Their generous gift has already made a real difference, and the boys are proud to help look after it. It is inspiring to see our older children taking responsibility and learning practical life skills while giving back to the home that cares for them. Their teamwork, dedication, and willingness to help show just how much pride they have in Happy House.
