Staff get lessons in IT

Usually, when we hear from Uncle Telvin he is busy working in the Happy house garden.
He is an important member of our outside team who look after our grounds and maintenance.
Today, he is in a very different space, our computer room , having an online lesson from charity trustee, Lewis Hall, who is an IT specialist working in the UAE.
Lewis, as former Blackpool teacher, is passionate about ashring his knowledge to extend the skills of our children and our staff.
Every week he provides online lessons, which become face-to-face when he is visiting Kenya , making the learning experience even more special.
Our staff are truly lucky to have access to this kind of training. Learning these skills elsewhere could cost a lot of money, but through Lewis’s generosity, learning and development are always within reach.
Telvin and colleagues are keen to learn how to use computers and to understand new technology and is grateful to be able do so free of charge.
Our thanks go to Lewis who gives his time so generously to all our Happy House family.
