We usually see our Happy house director, Auntie Rose, busy in the office where she is the lynxhpin of our management team.
But she also spends a lot of time with the children and has known every one of them since the day they arrived and seen them grow and develop.
As a mother of two daughters, she understands the importance of preparing girls for the many changes they will experience as they become young women.
Samira and Charity are both in their teens, and here Auntie Rose is spending time relaxing with them and talking about what life will be like beyond the Happy House.
She is gentle and encouraging, always positive, and encourages them to study hard so that they will be able to support themselves and achieve their ambitions.
Auntie Rose is a wonderful role model. She worked her way up from being Mama Sue’s office assistant to senior management, studying to gain additional qualifications along the way.
We are very lucky to have her.
