We were delighted to welcome Chiara and Christian from Italy to Happy House Children’s Home.
Chiara, a 28-year-old primary school teacher, and her partner Christian, who works at Rome Airport, travelled from Italy and spent time getting to know our children.
Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care were felt by everyone they met. Their visit was made even more special by the thoughtful gifts they brought for our children.
They arrived with much-needed supplies including books, clothes, colouring materials, and caps, bringing smiles to so many little faces.
These generous donations will make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for their kindness and support.
During their visit, Chiara and Christian also met baby Reuben, whom they have chosen to sponsor.
Although Reuben is still very young, they wrote him a beautiful letter filled with love, hope, and encouragement. In their touching message, they shared that they are honoured to be part of his journey and wished him a future filled with good health, happiness, learning, and endless opportunities.
As Chiara wrote, “Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream.”
hose words beautifully reflect the love and compassion they have already shown to Reuben and to all of our children. We will carefully keep their letter in Reuben’s memory box so that, one day, he will be able to read it and know that he has been loved and supported from the very beginning by two wonderful people living many miles away.
