Today, Lucky takes us to an exciting Happy House sports day at school, where laughter, teamwork, and determination filled the air as students competed in a variety of sporting activities.
The competition saw the Green Team take on the Orange Team in a series of thrilling matches. The Green Team put in an outstanding performance to win both the netball and volleyball competitions, while the Orange Team showed great skill and composure to triumph in the football penalty shootout.
Throughout the day, every child gave their best, cheering one another on and enjoying the spirit of friendly competition. It was inspiring to see everyone participating with enthusiasm, respect, and sportsmanship, making the event a memorable experience for all.
At Children of Watamu, we believe that sports play an important role in helping children build confidence, develop teamwork, stay active, and create lasting friendships. While there were winning teams, the greatest victory was seeing every child having fun and challenging themselves.
Well done to both the Green and Orange Teams for a fantastic Sports Day, and thank you, Lucky, for sharing this special day with us.
