It was a peaceful afternoon at the Happy House as our children enjoyed some time drawing, colouring and reflecting on some very special memories, reports Happy house blogger, Daudi.
Each child was asked to think about some of their happiest memories from being part of the Happy House family. With so many years, friendships and experiences to choose from thanks to you our supporters and global family, there was plenty to think about!
The children were asked to choose four memories and draw each one inside a paper camera. Their drawings included all sorts of moments that have made them smile, from special days and celebrations to outings, birthdays, activities and simply having fun together as a family.
It was lovely to see the children chatting as they drew, reminding each other of things they had done and places they had been. Sometimes it is only when we stop for a moment and look back that we realise just how many happy memories have been made along the way.
The updates will be sent to the children’s sponsors as a small personal update and a glimpse into some of the memories.
