Our Happy House FC and sports stadium is getting a makeover.
The footbal pitch and stand date back to 2013 when then volunteer, Frankie Asher, wanted to build his own dream to surprise our Mama Sue.
Frankie spent months with our family financed and organised the building of a stand and the laying of the pitch whilst Sue was in the UK receiving medical treatment.
The stand, vital to protect spectators from the harmful rays of the sun, has received regular maintenance but it now needs a new roof and some extra TLC.
The children, as Mwende says, are grateful that this is being done because it has become such an important feature for sporting events.
Frankie’s gift goes on giving.
