Today Esther Hayward has been busy knitting hot pan hoilde, putting into practice a new skill she has learnt at school.
Esther discovered that she really enjoys knitting, so we have bought her some needles and wool to allow her to continue practising and making things in her free time at home.
It is lovely to see her concentrating on her latest creation and enjoying a hobby that is not only a relaxing way to spend her time, but also teaches her a useful and creative skill that she can continue to develop.
At the Happy House, we always try to encourage our children when they discover something they enjoy, whether that is crafts, cooking, sport, music or another new interest.
Thank you to everyone who supports our Happy House family and makes it possible for us to provide the children with activities, materials and opportunities to keep them busy while learning useful skills along the way.
