Making memories for wedding guests

Our children have spent time decorating seashells that will soon make a journey all the way from the shores of Watamu to Italy.

These shells are being given as favours to guests attending the wedding celebration of our good friends Hayley Holuj and Lorenzo, who were married earlier this year.

Each shell is completely unique and designed by one of our children. They have decorated them with their own drawings, added their name, and even included their fingerprint, making every shell a personal keepsake and a little reflection of who they are.

The children loved the opportunity to get creative and think about the people who would eventually receive their shells. Some carefully drew pictures, others focused on making colourful patterns, and everyone took great pride in creating something that was truly their own.

There is something rather special about knowing that these small gifts will travel from one coastline to another. From our little corner of Watamu, they will make their way across the world to Italy, carrying with them a little piece of Happy House and the love of the children who created them.

We hope the wedding guests enjoy receiving them as much as the children enjoyed making them.

Congratulations once again to Hayley and Lorenzo, and thank you for allowing the Happy House family to be part of your celebrations in such a meaningful way.
