Third bungalow nears completion

These are exciting times at Happy House, the third of our halfway houses is just a few weeks away from completion.
It will provide a home for four young people who must leave our care at 18 but who are still in education or vocational training.
The three bungalows on a secure site, just a short walk away from Happy House, give these young people a chance to live independently, but with the support of their Happy House House family.
This bungalow has been largely paid for from fundraising by Ben Heavers and Rees Flynn who, last summer, took on the challenge of getting right to the top of Mont Blanc – Western Europe’s highest peak and combined with a generous donation from Benji who raised money from friends and family for his 45th Birthday.
Wyre Masonic Lodge in Lancashire also donated £450 to be used towards furnishing the bunglow.
We are very grateful to-all those who are making it possible to provide continuing care for our young people while they set out on their journey to full independence.
Our director, Auntie Rose, shows us around the new building.
