Blogger Harry is keen to tell us all about the multiplication sessions the Happy house children have been enjoying.
They’re led, online, by Sabrina, who with her partner James volunteered at Happy House for several weeks. Now they are back in the UK they are still inb regular touch, helping where they can.
Sabrina has been taking our children through multiplication sessions, helping them practise their times tables and develop greater confidence with numbers. Multiplication is an important foundation for many areas of mathematics, and building these skills while the children are young can make a big difference as they progress through school.
It is wonderful to see that volunteering does not always end when someone leaves Watamu. Sabrina has continued to give her time, encouragement and knowledge from afar, showing the children that distance does not have to stop us from making a difference.
Harry is helping us share more about the session and how the children are enjoying this opportunity to learn. We are so proud of the children for putting in the effort, practising their multiplication and continuing to grow in confidence.
A huge thank you to Sabrina and James for continuing to be part of the Happy House family, and to everyone who continues to support, encourage, volunteer and give to our children. Every contribution helps provide opportunities for our children to learn, grow and build a brighter future.
